Fresh Faces at IFSE in 2023

After a thriving 2022 with an abundance of new hires and a successful start to the new year, we’re delighted to welcome 4 friendly new (and old) faces to the IFSE team!

Laurence Hookway – Sales Manager

Laurence, our most recent addition to the sales team, is no stranger to the catering industry, having worked for alcoholic beverage giant Bacardi, as well as catering retailers Nisbets and Lockhart Catering Equipment, not to mention a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Brighton.

So, it’s with great pleasure that we welcomed Lawrence to IFSE in July 2023, who is now responsible for transforming our client’s ideas into a reality with the wider sales and design team.  

Having recently joined a local Jiu-Jitsu club and not long started to practice guitar again, Laurence relieves stress from the fast-paced world of sales at both ends of the spectrum, through a combination of grappling with opponents and strumming his favourite tunes.

Chloe Boateng – Estimator

Chloe joined Jess in our downstairs Estimating department in July this year, and her bubbly attitude, willingness to help and sense of humour have been widely recognised by the team already.

With many years of experience working within the catering industry, having previously worked for refrigeration supplier Chiller Box Ltd, we’re thrilled to welcome Chloe to the IFSE team.

Chloe is a woman of many talents and interests, and you’ll often find her at the gym, swimming, singing or volunteering, sometimes even baking for the office much to the delight of the IFSE team!

Consuelo Redaelli – Senior Designer

After a Master in Interior and Industrial Design, Consuelo worked in several prime Milanese architectural studios including Enzo Mari, Systematica and One Works. In 2006 She founded her own Studio,, collaborating with several companies including Compass Group Italia in the F&B world. She was also teaching in well-known private universities in Milan (such as NABA and IED), as well as writing in F&B specialised magazine MixerPlanet since 2012.

She moved to London in 2019 where she kept working as an independent consultant for several clients, including office and workplace design for new post-pandemic office formats such as Heineken Italia‘s HQ. Consuelo has been instrumental in creating designs and presenters with a unique creative flair to the delight of many of our clients.

When she could freely manage her time she did many years of volunteering, developing creative workshops for women in the San Vittore prison in Milan and in London with the charity Refettorio Felix of chef Massimo Bottura. Consuelo has always travelled a lot, enjoys drawing and illustrating books for her son, and loves to spend time skiing in the mountains.

Paul Hume – Head of Projects 

A previous employee of IFSE 9 years ago with decades of industry experience under his belt, Paul recently joined the team again in April 2023 as the company’s ‘Head of Projects’ following similar roles for catering suppliers KCCJVision and RDA.

Bringing a wealth of experience with him into his new role, Paul’s responsible for overseeing the wider project management team, ensuring that our project managers are working hard to deliver results for clients promptly and to the expected high standards the IFSE team are renowned for.

A keen golfer, you’ll usually find the industry expert driving and putting his way through a 9 or 18-hole course at weekends, when he’s not busy on the road visiting one of our many site nationwide.
