Former GKF projects director Nick Marsden set to play key role in nurturing partnership between dealer and its parent company ifse
Bettaquip is aiming to drive closer integration of its sales and project teams with those of parent company ifse following the appointment of a seasoned catering equipment professional to the business.
Nick Marsden, who boasts more than 20 years’ expertise in design, project management and technical operations, recently joined the business as technical director.
He previously served as projects director at Manchester-based Goyt Kitchen Fabrications (GKF), where he made significant contributions to numerous high-profile projects.
His career began at Dawson MMP, where he spent eight years honing his skills as design manager, specialising in bespoke solutions for clients.
He also enjoyed a successful period at Sprint Group before joining GKF, where he worked on flagship refurbishments for renowned clients such as Ivy Manchester, Tortilla, Burger King, Birmingham City Football Club and Oxford Science Park.
Through a longstanding relationship with ifse, developed via collaborative design and delivery of counter and kitchen fabrication projects, including most recently Senate House, his expertise aligns perfectly with Bettaquip’s strategic objectives, the company said.
As Bettaquip is now part of the ifse Group, Mr Marsden will work closely with the broader team at ifse to reinforce the business’s position, bringing his technical approach and extensive equipment and fabrication knowledge to the table.
Andy Bettany, director of Bettaquip, stated:
“I had the privilege of working with Nick on multiple projects and was immediately impressed by his technical skill and dedication. His expertise will not only enhance our clients’ projects but also drive Bettaquip’s business into new areas, ensuring excellence at every stage.”
Julia Hill, group managing director at ifse Group, added:
“The team and I are thrilled to welcome Nick to the Bettaquip family. We have enjoyed a close working relationship with Nick over the years on numerous high-profile projects.”
“His appointment to the senior team at Bettaquip represents a cornerstone of our growth strategy, ensuring ifse Group companies remain leaders in restaurant design and build.”
In his new role, Mr Marsden will continue to nurture the partnership between Bettaquip and ifse, fostering seamless collaboration across both organisations.
The company said that by integrating sales and project teams, he will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional outcomes across all operations.
Mr Marsden commented:
“I am eager to contribute to the ongoing success of Bettaquip and ifse, two organisations renowned for their innovation and dedication to excellence. I look forward to working closely with their talented teams and leveraging our collective strengths to deliver outstanding solutions for our clients.”
